Ridesharing company Lyft—in collaboration with Environmental Defense Fund—has commited to reach 100% electric vehicles on the Lyft platform by 2030. The shift to 100% EVs for Lyft will mean transitioning all vehicles used on the Lyft platform over the next ten years to all-electric or other zero-emission technologies.

A number of Uber drivers have shared their experiences with Tesla’s electric vehicles. It also saves him a lot on gas.

Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) has entered an agreement with Electrify America, LLC to provide the first all-electric Porsche, the Taycan, with three years of charging at Electrify America public stations across the country. The highway stations will be spaced along multiple routes and no more than 120 miles from each other.

The study found that the total cost of ownership for a 300-mile midsize electric SUV varies by $52,000 across all the cities studied. But the cheapest cities for EVs were Atlanta, Chicago, and Cleveland, while the cheapest cities for gasoline cars were Houston and Dallas. There was some crossover, however.
