The California Center for Jobs & The Economy has released an updated report ( earlier post ) on the progress of ZEV sales in the state during the first half of 2020, drawing on sales data from the California New Car Dealers Association (CNCDA). Sales nationally were down 23.5%. Cumulative PEV Sales at 15.3% in H1 2020.

The combined total of light-duty all-electric vehicles (EV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) sold in China in 2018 was more than 1 million, or 8.1% Europe’s plug-in vehicle sales have been nearly equally split between EV and PHEV since 2015, while more EV than PHEV have been sold in China and the United States.
