In the US, Volkswagen’s updated 2017 e-Golf now carries an an EPA-estimated range of 125 miles—a 50% increase over the previous model year. The 2017 e-Golf goes on sale in the US later this spring, with pricing yet to be announced. The electric motor on the 2017 e-Golf has been upgraded as well.

Tesla halting free Supercharging for Teslas ordered after 1 Jan 2017

For Teslas ordered after 1 January 2017, the company will include 400 kWh of free Supercharging credits (roughly 1,000 miles) annually. These changes will not impact current owners or any new Teslas ordered before 1 January 2017, as long as delivery is taken before 1 April 1 2017.
