According to company documents issued for its stock market launch, Uber is looking to increase massively its operations worldwide and is eyeing Europe in particular, identifying Germany, Spain and Italy as priority markets for expansion. The number of taxi licenses has been capped through licenses; however Uber has seen rapid growth.

It is relatively agreed upon it seems that Norway will be the first country to completely phase petrol engines out of its factories and off of its roads. Norway plans to completely phase out gas cars at some point in 2022, according to some projections. Eventually, gas cars will be a thing of the past nearly everywhere.
