Porsche opens first Charging Lounge

Porsche is planning to set up its own fast-charging stations offering a premium charging experience along Europe’s most important routes. As a pilot site, the first Porsche Charging Lounge has opened outside Bingen am Rhein. Further Porsche Charging Lounges are currently planned for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

THINK Restarts Production of EVs in Finland

THINK, the Scandinavian electric vehicle (EV) maker, has re-started production of the THINK City—one of the first urban EVs—at a new facility with manufacturing partner Valmet Automotive in Uusikaupunki, Finland. Valmet Automotive also produces Garia and Fisker alternative-fuel vehicles as well as Porsche AG’s Boxster and Cayman.

Unless Hyundai lowers its price.But enough of futurology, and back to last month performance, the Netherlands was the best market for the Hyundai nameplate, with a record 4,441 deliveries, followed by Germany (2,995 units), with Spain (578) being a distant 3rd. #5 Not Bad for a Year Zero.
