ARB: carbon intensity of biomethane from wastewater sludge could be as low as -65.27 g CO2e/MJ

Grid-based electricity, using the California-Marginal mix of electrical generating assets, is assumed to power the wastewater sludge treatment, and biogas cleaning, compression, and fuel dispensing processes. The first scenario is for biomethane produced at a Small-to-Medium POTW with wastewater inflows of 5-20 million gallons per day (MGD).
