Reva Electric Car Company (REVA) will unveil two new electric car models at the Frankfurt International Motor Show (IAA) next week. The REVA NXR. The REVA NXR is a four-seat, three-door hatchback family car suitable for urban driving that can be ordered at the show, with production scheduled to commence at the beginning of 2010.

The REVA NXR. Bannon will use technology based on that developed by REVA Electric Car Company Private, Ltd., RECC) to build REVA’s NXR model ( earlier post ), which was recently introduced to the public at the Frankfurt Auto Show in Germany. REVA, India’s first zero polluting electric vehicle for city mobility, was commercialized in June 2001.
