An incredible pair of stories in the Detroit news here and here. Thanks for the tip to Felix Kramer of CalCars. In one, electric drive is seen as inevitable. In the other electricity isn't even mentioned.

The Detroit News Autos Insider column today is reporting on Congressional efforts to promote plug-in hybrids and the backlash from the automakers. Calcars continues to work with the Electric Auto Association members to bring a do-it-yourself kit to hybrid owners with moxie. HybridsPlus and EDrive have converted cars.
