Think Nissan with its Warrior by Premcar program. The NOTGAS, for want of a better name, isn’t a production model, and you can’t buy one. That is to say you can’t actually buy one. When it comes time to charge, the XPower will take 140kW DC charging. And now it’s MG’s turn. Incredible.

The team is taking two Teslas down the Pan-American Highway, the world’s longest motorable road. no charging stations in town. We could barely charge in some homes using the 110/12A mobile charger. We had to change tires, and we had to wait some days for them to arrive, so we could not reach our next charging station.

The charging flap is located here at the front left of the vehicle, this opens which opens like so to reveal your Type 2 and your CCS connector. The CCS connector is your public rapid charge port. For comparison here’s the standard length e-Expert alongside the smaller Nissan e-NV200. Still, that’s impressive.
