Believed to be the world’s first two-seater electric racer, the car will be revealed at the COP26 climate change conference in Glasgow, Scotland on 31 October. The battery cells were developed and produced by EAS Batteries.

Using the ITM Power HFuel platform to generate hydrogen, the six-week trial involves M&S using several fuel cell vehicles as a direct substitute for part of the existing battery-powered fleet. The vehicles will be deployed at M&S’s 1.1 million sq. Prologis Park Distribution Centre.
