Ford experimenting with four-legged robots to laser-scan plant

Ford is using two four-legged robots leased from Boston Dynamics at its Van Dyke Transmission Plant in early August to laser-scan the plant, helping engineers update the original computer-aided design. Scouter glides smoothly up and down the aisles of the plant, allowing Fluffy to conserve battery power until it’s time to get to work.

San Francisco selects BAE Systems Series-ER for 68 transit buses for Green Bus Zones

The system opens a new door for San Francisco to get to zero emissions by 2035, as each bus will now be able to drive on clean electric power through each of the areas – known as “green zones.” Boston, Louisville, Montreal, Nashville, and Seattle are using Series-ER technology to cut down emissions.
