The LOI signed by Kandi and CALB is to facilitate faster development of China’s electric vehicle industry and to secure Kandi and AVIC’s positions in the EV and lithium battery industries. The Hangzhou municipal government will provide financial subsidies and create supporting policies that are beneficial for the promotion of EVs.

Audi has opened its e-gas plant in Werlte, making it the first automobile manufacturer to develop a chain of sustainable energy carriers. This enables them to take part in an accounting process that ensures that the amount of gas that they put in their vehicle at the natural gas filling station is supplied to the grid by the Audi e-gas plant.
