Porsche AG has developed a new production process at its headquarters in Zuffenhausen in collaboration with Tesa SE. Using this process, the holes in the car body, which are necessary for corrosion prevention, can now be sealed much more effectively; these holes are required so that all of the body cavities can be accessed in the paint shop.

At the Paris Motor Show, Porsche presented the Panamera Sport Turismo concept, a plug-in hybrid that offers 416 hp (306 kW) of peak system power. Porsche is making further efforts to reduce CO? emissions in its supply chain: the sports car manufacturer is calling for its around 1,300 series suppliers to use exclusively renewable energy in the manufacture of Porsche components as of July 2021. Porsche wants to be CO?-neutral neutral across the entire value chain by 2030.

Porsche has increased the electric range of all its Cayenne plug-in hybrid models. kWh, which boosts the electric range by up to 30%.
