Starting immediately, Deutsche Post is offsetting any unavoidable CO 2 emissions due to mail transport with investments in internationally recognized and certified climate protection projects at no extra charge. Deutsche Post’s new policy now makes letter mail more climate friendly for private customers as well.

Volkswagen Group continues switch to low-emission logistics with order for four more LNG ships

Volkswagen is the first automaker to transport most of its new vehicles overseas using low-emission LNG ships. After the first two LNG car carriers entered service in 2020, Volkswagen Group Logistics has now ordered four more ships with dual-fuel engines that can be powered with LNG. The use of LNG not only reduces CO 2 emissions.
