Bosch is working on sensor technology for air taxis. The Boston Consulting Group predicts that people around the world will take 1 billion flights in air taxis in 2030, once sharing services have also established a presence on fixed routes above the ground; most of those air taxis will be capable of operating without a pilot.

Continental technologies such as ABS, radar and redundant brake system are being used in series production for robo-taxis for first time. This year, Continental’s technology for driverless vehicles will be in production for the first time in French company EasyMile’s EZ10 autonomous shuttle.

The Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) has selected Delphi Automotive PLC as a strategic partner to implement autonomous mobility concepts. Delphi’s technology solution is vehicle-agnostic and can be applied in passenger cars, buses, commercial vehicles, purpose-built mobility pods and electric vehicles.

Singapore will implement a new Carbon Emissions-Based Vehicle Scheme (CEV) on 1 January 2012, providing rebates to qualified new cars, taxis, and imported used cars with low carbon emissions, and imposing an equivalent surcharge on higher emitting vehicles. CEV bandings (Singapore dollars).

The platoon will traffic public roads while transporting containers between port terminals in Singapore. The multi-year project is organized by the Ministry of Transport and the Port of Singapore Authority (PSA Corporation).
