Polestar plans on being a major manufacturer of all-electric luxury vehicles, competing with the likes of Lucid, Porsche and Tesla. Even less if your state also offers a tax credit.

Porsche priced its electric Macan SUV —simply badged as Macan 4 and Macan Turbo, at $80,450 and $106,950, respectively. The 2024 Acura ZDX was also given a price. population.

4 is exactly the same as last year’s model, though has received a price bump from last year, which started 2023 at a price of $37,495, then got a $1,500 price hike mid-year, and has been bumped further in 2024 up to $39,735 before destination fees. This makes the 62kWh version quite attractive at a ~$32k base price after credit.

In my previous article, Proposed Changes to the Federal EV Tax Credit Passed by the House of Representatives , I outlined and analyzed 13 proposed changes to IRC 30D (federal EV tax credit). But all of these PHEVs have batteries of around 9 kWh and so they could easily be upgraded to 10 kWh to qualify for the tax credit.
