Honda Manufacturing in Indiana has begun production of the 2009 Civic GX, which is the only natural gas vehicle built by a major automaker in the USA. The Civic GX was actually first introduced in 1998 and is the cleanest internal combustion vehicle certified by the EPA - it is around 90 per cent cleaner than the average petrol powered car.
