There is reason to be optimistic about an EV future when Consumer Reports (CR) says that “36% of Americans plan to buy or lease an electric-only vehicle or are seriously considering doing so.” Compared to a Texas poll that we covered previously in Teslarati , Consumer Reports ‘ poll showed a lower level of interest.

As per the message, Musk noted that the current quarter is all about minimizing the cost of vehicle deliveries. Per my email several weeks ago, our focus this quarter should be on minimizing *cost* of deliveries, rather than spending heavily on expedite fees, overtime, and temporary contractors just so that cars arrive in Q4.
