According to the original Chevron data, the Stage II lens is approximately seven times larger than Stage I lens, so only a portion of the lens will be drilled at this time. The first mass-produced electric vehicle (EV) using a sodium-ion battery has been introduced by JAC Motors. At the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2023, JAC unveiled the Yiwei 3, a different electric vehicle with an LFP lithium battery and rolled out to the roads in June, with the promise that the sodium-ion version would follow later.

The redesigned front has a new diamond-pattern grille and fascia that house chevron-shaped LED daytime running lights and fog lamps. In the rear the horizontal LED taillights have a bold design, with a faux skid plate and more chevron-shaped back-up lights. Our road tests are based on this one-week drive of a new vehicle.
