We did not go in for mix mode because we wanted to find out what is the maximum juice that can be extracted out of the pack. Even petrol vehicles are prone to fires, even after a hundred years of engineering. (We use sum of actual km run and DTE displayed to get to the end value.) The average wh per km reported was 27.4. With two Electric cars, at the time a Nissan Lean and Mitsubishi Outlander, we use a considerable amount of electricity but not much petrol, so already we were a reasonable way down the less CO2 road.
