Volvo has flipped its usual script with the 2023 XC60 Recharge plug-in hybrid, but it hasn’t sacrificed any of the benefits of owning a plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV), which is the perfect bridge between a gasoline and electric power. With a 240 volt Level 2 charger (at a maximum of 3.6 kW), it takes five hours for a full charge.
