The goal is to build a custom drag race setup using: A Tesla Model 3 Performance rear motor , A high-voltage battery pack from a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica , configured 96s1p, And most importantly: reusing the Pacifica’s original BPCM (Battery Pack Control Module) to manage the battery without needing a third-party BMS.

Hello I am slowly working on my EV conversion I did build a 1000 amp ZEVA controller it was a steep learning curve for me , but I enjoyed it the motor is from a Bagnal Lancing forklift , it has 2 sets of field coils , these 2 sets are in series when driving the forklift up and down slow , and only one set is used when driving fast.

The motor is adaptable to either the Samurai transmission or then I’ll have to fabricate a reducer before the transfer case which is divorced. After running against some oil pump related issues with my Swift GTi engine I swapped in earlier, I sort of got pushed beyond the threshold and now next thing that is going in shall be electric.

I’m putting model 3 dual motor into a truck. Chassis is solid. But the suspension, cv axles, carriage is Tesla model 3. people run 3.6 seconds 0-60, must be really hard on those cars. So they’re strong. How would i come to figure out what the towing capacity should be on this Tesla inside a pickup truck?

I have my 1965 Ford Falcon on the road with a 2021 Mustang Mach-e drive system (battery pack, rear motor/ suspension assembly, HVAC, ABS, on board charger , touch screen etc. ) I have posted this before and have had responses but, no definitive solution. I t runs and drives just great! I just cannot delete the faults displayed on the IPC.
