GVB, the public transport company of Amsterdam, is further expanding its electric fleet with 84 new generation VDL Citeas. The framework contract includes an option for a further 130 new VDL Citeas, which in the coming years will contribute to a further reduction in CO 2 emissions. GVB provides public transport in and around Amsterdam.

According to the provisional data, the average CO 2 emissions of a new car sold in the EU rose by 0.4 g/km last year to 118.5g/km.
