The systems will autonomously charge part of the electric yard tractor fleet of SSA Marine at the International Container Terminal at the Port of Oakland. We look forward to enabling SSA Marine to expand the electrification of their fleets in a scalable way. Integrated LED lighting enables the system to work around the clock.

During the next 18 months, the project will deploy high-powered chargers at several existing Volvo Trucks’ dealership locations in Central and Northern California, including TEC Equipment Oakland, TEC Equipment Dixon, Western Truck Center in Stockton, and Affinity Truck Centers in Fresno and Bakersfield.

The technology, which uses lidar sensors and artificial intelligence (AI), will enable the city to monitor key safety metrics 24/7—including traffic conflicts, speeding and red-light runners—and proactively improve the safety of vulnerable road users. The campus-wide study will evaluate the effectiveness of GEKOT’s solutions.

CATS’ fleet and financial plans call for the replacement 1998, 1999 and 2007 year diesel buses with new diesel buses in fiscal year 2012.

Soft” fleet orders are a critical component of the Plug-In Partners goal of demonstrating to automakers that a market exists for flexible fuel plug-in hybrids. As fleet orders increase, city governments around the country also continue to join the coalition.
