BYD and UzAuto to form NEV production JV in Uzbekistan

UzAuto companies produce a range of vehicles from light passenger vehicles to heavy-duty trucks, buses, trailers and superstructures with an annual production volume of more than 350,000 vehicles per year. UzAuto is expanding its production capacity by 500,004 by end of 2023 and 1 million vehicles by 2027.

GECF: more than a quarter of 2050 natural gas supply untapped

Yet-to-find (YTF) resources will contribute to around 30% of the total production of natural gas worldwide by 2050, according to Yury Sentyurin, the Secretary General of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF). It will see production rise across all regions of the world, with the exception of Europe, where it will decline by 70% by 2050.

BP starts up Na Kika Phase 3 in ultra-deepwater Gulf Of Mexico

BP announced the start-up of Na Kika Phase 3, a project supporting BP’s strategy of growing high-margin production at four BP-operated hubs in the ultra-deepwater Gulf of Mexico. The first Na Kika Phase 3 well began oil production on 19 February, with a second well expected to start up in the second quarter.

Devon Energy and BP Enter Into $7.0B Property Sales Agreement and Oil Sands Joint Venture

Devon Energy Corporation has entered into agreements to sell all of its assets in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico, Brazil and Azerbaijan to BP for $7.0 The undeveloped Kirby oil sands leases are in the south east of the Athabasca region of Alberta, close to the Devon-operated Jackfish development, which started production in 2007.

BP and Maersk collaborating to develop next-generation offshore drilling rigs for Project 20K
