The Audi Environmental Foundation is developing filters for urban runoff in conjunction with the Technical University of Berlin (TUB). The filters prevent tire wear particles and other environmentally harmful substances from being washed into sewers and bodies of water along with rainwater.

Audi introduces new CNG A3 Sportback

Audi is adding a new member to its A3 family: the A3 Sportback 30 g-tron natural gas vehicle. Audi first introduced an A3 Sportback g-tron in 2014. Three CNG tanks arranged perpendicular to the direction of travel are located in the rear of the Audi A3 Sportback 30 g-tron. Crash tests requirements are also easily met.

IDTechEx: motors with oil cooling became the dominant form in the electric car market in 1H 2022

The downside of oil cooling is the addition of extra components and typically, the water-glycol circuit still exists to remove the heat from the oil and interact with the rest of the vehicle's thermal system.
