Tesla seemed to poke some fun at the Ford F-150 Lightning in its Powershare promotional video. In its highlights for the new feature, Tesla depicted a Cybertruck owner helping out an F-150 Lightning that needed some extra range on the road. Neighbor's wife forgot to charge her Tesla while visiting her parents.

Ford CEO Jim Farley said today that consumers are not committing to electric vehicles because they have anxiety, and it is not range anxiety. “They don’t have range anxiety, they have charging anxiety,” Farley said on Fox Business. and for those customers, it works great, but it’s not for everyone.”

Ford has taken the first step toward offering Tesla Supercharger access to its electric vehicle owners by offering a complimentary charging adapter. The battery electric Chevrolet Silverado EV full-size pick-up is not under consideration for Australia sale. The transition to electric pick-ups has barely got underway in Australia, with only LDV currently offering a BEV load-hauler in the form of the unimpressive T60. Its Cadillac brand will be all-electric by 2030.
