TNO joins H2-Share project to build and demo 27t hydrogen fuel cell truck and mobile refueler

The project aims to build and demonstrate a 27-ton rigid hydrogen fuel cell truck along with a mobile refueler. H2-Share stands for Hydrogen Solutions for Heavy-duty transport Aimed at Reduction of Emissions in North West Europe. Antwerp Terminal Services (ATS) and CMB.TECH launch hydrogen dual fuel straddle carrier

INEOS to invest more than €2B in electrolysis projects in Europe for green hydrogen production

Its first plants will be built in Norway, Germany, and Belgium with investment also planned in the UK and France. In Germany INEOS plans to build a larger scale 100MW electrolyzer to produce green hydrogen at its Koln site. The Koln project will result in a reduction of carbon emissions of more than 120,000 tonnes per year.

Van Hool to build 40 hydrogen buses for Cologne and Wuppertal (Germany); largest fuel cell bus order in Europe to date

Van Hool, the Belgium-based independent bus, coach and industrial vehicles manufacturer, has landed a significant contract with RVK Köln and WSW Wuppertal (Germany), to supply 40 hydrogen buses of the latest generation. Van Hool has been building hydrogen buses for the American market since 2005 and for the European market since 2007.

Number of electric buses in Europe has increased from around 200 to 2,200 in 5 years

The Van Hool factory in Macedonia is building 900 buses this year; the factory is designed for an annual capacity of 1,000 buses. The Van Hool plant in Morristown (Tennessee, USA) is expected to start building buses from 2022. The first series-produced MAN Lion City buses will be delivered in the autumn of 2020.
