Wiesbaden starts using its first Mercedes-Benz eCitaro electric buses; 56-unit order

The first fully-electric Mercedes-Benz eCitaro city buses were handed over on 18 November 2019 to ESWE Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH (ESWE Verkehr) in Wiesbaden. The vehicles are part of a large-scale order for 56 units of the battery-powered city bus which is series-produced in Mannheim, Germany.

BMW Group to offer 25 electrified vehicle models by 2025, 12 fully electric

By 2025, the BMW Group will offer 25 electrified vehicle models—12 of them fully electric, said Harald Krüger, Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG, in a preview briefing before the opening of the Frankfurt Motor Show next week. BMW Group will deliver 100,000 electrified vehicles to customers this year, Krüger said.
