March marked the first time that registrations of electrified cars (BEV, PHEV, HEV) exceeded the 100,000 units mark, with a total of 125,400. in March 2017. The biggest drops were posted by Mercedes, Renault, Peugeot, Ford and Land Rover. The market continues to be dominated by SUVs, but their growth is slowing.

The second generation 2023 Kia Niro Hybrid continues what Kia started in 2017 when the Niro Hybrid debuted. inch ground clearance results in an outlook on the road a bit higher than a sedan, but not as high as a SUV. The Niro hybrid has a few key hybrid competitors—the Ford Escape , the Toyota Corolla and the Toyota RAV4.
