First XL Hybrids XLP plug-in hybrid upfits to be installed on Ford F-150 pickups

The XLP technology will be installed in MY17 Ford F-150 pickups with the 2.7L looking forward to accepting XLP ship-thru deliveries beginning fourth quarter 2017.

Mitsubishi Fuso to deliver 20 eCanter trucks to Australia Post

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation will deliver 20 units of the all-electric eCanter truck to the Australia Post fleet. In October, Australia Post will become the first local customer to integrate the electric light-duty truck into its daily operations. XLP ship-thru deliveries to fleet customers will begin in the fourth quarter of 2017, said Clay Siegert, XL Hybrids’ co-founder and chief operating officer. SDG&E, as one example, signed a memorandum of understanding to purchase up to 110 of the plug-in electric hybrid truck systems between 2017 and 2020 to upgrade SDG&E’s fleet vehicles.
