Port of Los Angeles surpasses 2023 pollution reduction targets five years ahead of schedule; NOx down 60% from 2005

EPA requests applications for ~$7M total in funding to reduce diesel emissions from school buses

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the availability of approximately $7 million in rebates to public school bus fleet owners to help them replace or retrofit older school buses. EPA will accept applications to 1 November 2016. Upgrading buses with older engines reduces diesel emissions and improves air quality.

KCL study finds London air pollution from traffic improving, but continues to exceed limits in many parts of city

T&E study: EVs can be cheaper for Uber drivers to run than latest diesels in many European capitals

Medium-sized battery-electric cars are on average 14% cheaper to run than equivalent diesels today, if slow charging overnight near home and/or fast charging at preferential rates are available.
