Land Rover Range_e 4WD diesel plug-in hybrid previews future production powertrains

New Range Rover Evoque offers Land Rover’s first 48V MHEV system

In London, Land Rover unveiled the New Range Rover Evoque luxury compact SUV. The new Evoque offers a choice of three- and four-cylinder Ingenium gasoline and diesel engines, a 48-volt mild-hybrid system (MHEV) and a 3-cylinder plug-in hybrid system (PHEV). The original Range Rover Evoque made its debut in 2010.

Williams Hybrid Power flywheel proves powerful and reliable in Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid in Zhuhai race

The Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid completed the recent 1,000 km of Zhuhai in China ahead of all other GT cars and with fewer stops for gasoline. At the core of the hybrid system is Williams Hybrid Power’s (WHP) flywheel energy storage unit. Zhuhai marked the last of three endurance races for the Porsche Hybrid in 2010.

Jaguar to build C-X75 hybrid supercar with Williams F1
