Nissan and FedEx Express engineers began in December 2011 co-testing the e-NV200 prototype on the streets of London, UK. Going forward, the proving tests will be newly expanded to countries such as Singapore, the USA and Brazil. The test recently expanded to Yokohama, Japan, in order to obtain additional real-world driving feedback.

Most recently, Toyota announced that its fuel cell sedan would also be available in the UK, USA, Germany and Denmark during the summer of 2015. And hydrogen technology is already being trialled in fuel cell buses by a number of cities including London and can also be scaled up to long-haul trucks and other big vehicles.

Therefore we will continue to run trials, such as the Ford Focus BEV trial in London, until the price drops. At Ford we have recently announced an electric Ford Focus will be available in the USA during 2011 and if all goes well I wouldn’t be surprised to see a similar announcement for Europe but we aren’t sure yet.
