Hawaii study finds vehicle-to-grid discharge detrimental to EV batteries

Toshiba to supply Li-ion battery energy storage system for frequency regulation project in US

Toshiba’s BESS, integrating an array of 6MW-2MWh SCiB lithium-ion batteries, will be delivered in November, and the system is scheduled to start operation in December. In the UK, Toshiba supplied SCiB for a 2MW energy storage system project led by the University of Sheffield.
