ExxonMobil is looking to reduce spending significantly as a result of market conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and commodity price decreases. Woods said that ExxonMobil has faced numerous market downturns throughout its long history and has experience operating in a sustained low-price environment. Based on this unprecedented environment, we are evaluating all appropriate steps to significantly reduce capital and operating expenses in the near term.

RAND reports suggest US DoD use less petroleum fuel to deal with high prices, not count on alternatives

Wanted: Electric MINI test drivers

Fully re-charging the battery using off-peak electricity at current prices will cost around £1.50. MINI is on the hunt for willing test drivers to drive its electric MINI cars as part of a Government-backed scheme to get electric cars on the roads.
