The driving range is over 400 km per charge in real world conditions. Its seven large hydrogen tanks offer a combined storage capacity of around 31 kg of fuel, while a 72-kWh-powered set of three batteries supports the performance. Refueling a full tank of hydrogen takes about 8 to 20 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature.

The California Air Resources Board announced a new statewide grant and loan program to help lower-income consumers across California get into the cleanest new and used cars on the market. The Clean Vehicle Assistance Program, run by the Oakland-based nonprofit Beneficial State Foundation, was launched with a $5-million CARB grant.

The Altamont Pass is a low mountain pass (1,009 feet or 308 meters) in the Diablo Range of Northern California between Livermore in the Livermore Valley and Tracy in the San Joaquin Valley. The Class 8 BYD 8TT delivered its zero-emission cargo from Port of Oakland to Tracy, CA. It is traversed by I-580.
