Mercedes-Benz is presenting the taxi version of the B 200 Natural Gas Drive at the Frankfurt International Motor Show. From 2014 the B 200 Natural Gas Drive will also be available as a taxi version.

Mercedes-Benz Mobility and BMW Group intend to sell their car-sharing joint venture SHARE NOW to Stellantis. Although Mercedes-Benz will focus more strongly on its core business in the luxury segment, car sharing will remain an important part of urban mobility and an essential element in the mobility offer at FREE NOW.

Zytek won the award for Most Economical & Environmentally Friendly Multi-Purpose electric vehicle with a 7-seat electric Mercedes Vito taxi ( earlier post ) in the first RAC Brighton to London Future Car Challenge. The Zytek taxi reached the Pall Mall finish in central London after around 4 hours, including scheduled stops.

Ford has successfully hired employees from Ford, Tesla, Rivian, Waymo, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, and others.
