Green Car Congress attended the Renewable Energy Finance Forum - Wall Street (REFF-Wall Street) conference (23-24 June) sponsored by Euromoney Energy Events and the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE). Other than the good news on oil consumption, very little was said in regards to transportation fuels. by Bill Cooke.

While the report shows generally good news, it also shows a decline in projects currently listed as under construction. According to the GEA this was due to 4 new geothermal power projects moving to completion, but also reflects difficulty obtaining final permits and difficulty obtaining financing.

My new solar system only needs to be 2 kilowatts now instead of 4 – which is good because solar’s still too damn expensive and the process for putting AB 811 financing in place is taking too damn long, (and that’s another Greenius post that I’m still working on).
