The Peterbilt Model 579EV will deliver the RNG to the Dane County landfill facility, where it will be injected into the natural gas pipeline to be used as clean transportation fuel on the west coast. At CES 2020, Kenworth displayed a Kenworth K270E battery-electric vehicle—the initial result of the collaboration. Like the Kenworth, the Peterbilt 220EV features a range between 100 and 200 miles.
