Over a three-year period, a small fleet of fully electric Volvo XC40 Recharge cars will be used as taxis by Cabonline, the largest taxi operator in the Nordic region, and charged wirelessly at stations in Gothenburg, Sweden. To easily align the car with the charging pad, Volvo Cars will use its 360-degree camera system.

ABB will provide two fast-chargers for Scania electric buses in Östersund, Sweden. The chargers are based on OppCharge , an open interface for the automated charging of electric buses from any manufacturer, and use a pantograph on the infrastructure to connect the bus to the charging point.

PowerCell Sweden AB signed a contract with Norwegian Havyard Group ASA for the development of the design and the technical specifications for a zero-emissions fuel-cell system. When entering the fjords, they can operate fully electric for a long time with no other emissions than water. —Per Wassén.

In the future, Polestar 3 will join the portfolio as a fully electric performance SUV.

The all-electric Rolls-Royce Spectre has concluded winter testing 55km from Arctic Circle. Temperatures at the facility used by the marque, located in Arjeplog, Sweden, drop to -26 ?C is the integration of a fully electric power train and Decentralized Intelligence into the marque’s architecture. This was Rolls-Royce 2.0.
