CO 2 emissions from private jets in Europe increased by nearly a third (31%) between 2005 and 2019, rising faster than commercial aviation emissions, according to a new report from environmental campaign group Transport & Environment (T&E). This was primarily due to the classification of utility companies under state laws. Charging station owners or operators are required to remit the tax monthly using prescribed forms provided by the Oklahoma Tax Commission. In Pennsylvania , there is an existing alternative fuel tax in effect.

The Better Buildings Challenge targets helping American commercial and industrial buildings becoming at least 20% more energy efficient by 2020. Burning natural gas is about one-half as carbon-intensive as coal, which can make it a “bridge fuel” for many countries as the world transitions to even cleaner sources of energy.

Small companies with limited engineering resources make a significant percentage of vehicles in Classes 4 through 8a, although in many cases they buy the complete chassis from larger OEMs. Regulators will need to take the limitations of these smaller companies into account. The report urges Congress to consider this approach.
