For the last ten years, DHL has transported all parcels for private customers with its climate-friendly “GoGreen” service.

According to a new study published by the ifo Institue Center for Economic Studies (CESifo) in Germany, EVs will barely help cut CO 2 emissions in the country over the coming years, as the introduction of electric vehicles does not necessarily lead to a reduction in CO 2 emissions from road traffic given the current power generation mix.

Water from the Hellisheiði power plant then flows through the facility and transports the carbon dioxide roughly 2,000 meters below the surface of the Earth. The water returns to the cycle of the geothermal power plant. This uses a specially developed adsorbent to bind the CO 2 in the air. One quarter of that will be credited to Audi.
