If current rates of decline continue through 2020, the state will need to reduce emissions at a rate of 4.97% each year in the decade between 2020 and 2030, and produce even steeper declines in the period from 2030 to 2050, if it is to meet current climate goals. But the effects of these efforts seem to be reaching a plateau.

The clean design can’t help but make me think of stereotypes about Swedish design and minimalism. Speaking of price points, this is not a cheap car. Other standard features include a panoramic sunroof, leather seats, heated front seats, cooled front seats, keyless entry, four-zone climate control, and a 360-degree camera.

Now are we still stuck maintaining our addiction with clean needles, or, best case, settling for methadone? And oil only seems cheap. That’s too long to wait to improve energy security, protect our economy, and address climate change. But let’s realize: defending our nation is never cheap. Clearly, that hasn’t worked.
