Volvo Cars reported global sales of 59,154 cars in November, up 12.0% Overall underlying demand for the company’s cars continues to remain robust, especially for its Recharge range of pure electric and plug-in hybrid cars. Sales of fully electric vehicles for the period were down 16% to 121,365 units.

Volvo Cars reported sales of 162,938 cars for Q1 2023, up 10% compared to the same period last year. The sales growth was mainly led by the company’s fully electric cars. For the month of March, Volvo Cars sold 63,132 cars globally, up 8% compared with the same month last year.

To the end of July more than 600,000 group vehicles based on the platform have been sold. In June 2020, it had sold a total of 35,708 CMA-based vehicles.
