United to buy 15 supersonic aircraft from Boom; option for 35 more; optimized for 100% SAF

United Airlines announced a commercial agreement with Denver-based aerospace company Boom Supersonic to purchase 15 of Boom’s Overture supersonic airliners, once Overture meets United’s safety, operating and sustainability requirements, with an option for an additional 35 aircraft. Boom is working with Rolls-Royce on propulsion.
