These experiences ultimately encouraged Song to buy a pure electric car next time. Next time, I’ll buy electric,” Song said.

This significant reduction in price is intriguing for us EV enthusiasts as it bodes the question: ‘Is it the right time for me to buy a Tesla?’ Tesla’s aren’t cheap, we all know that, but this recent price drop has made the Model 3 slightly more affordable. Buying a car, especially an EV, is a pretty significant decision to make.

Not only that, but the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety did some AEB and forward-collision warning testing recently using 10 crossover SUVs and only one scored "good." I'd consider buying it if I were new-car shopping and it was an option on a ride I was considering. Almost 3 million vehicles are affected. Pun fully intended.
