Boeing partners with South African Airways to convert Solaris energy tobacco into jet fuel

Boeing, South African Airways (SAA) and SkyNRG are collaborating to make sustainable aviation biofuel from Solaris, a new hybrid tobacco plant optimized for seed production for energy applications.
