I have posted here before with a different VW kit car build which was a 72v Wilderness EV kit in a Bentley kit body roadster. Pretty straight forward and easy build.

It can be purchased. Power comes from an external USB battery. I’ve not used my DIY magnetometer to search for any submarines or alien monoliths, but I did test it using a steel hammer, which affects the readings in an obvious way when placed within about a meter of the sensor board. on Amazon for just US $40. After some consideration, I purchased a 2x4basics custom workbench kit (which provides the bench's heavy-gauge structural resin supports) and lumber to form the main structure, and then cut slabs of chipboard to form a top and a bottom surface. Though this space is generous by most standards, it seems I always needed “just a bit" more.

All of this went back together very nicely and concluded phase 3 of the project ( choose, purchase and install the electronics of the EV conversion). So I scavenged all of the batteries that I own and came up with a 72v pack and the accessory battery. At this point I still hadn?t t tested the Unit. Its Alivvvvve!

I purchased a SEVCON millipak controller and PCpak software. 2) connect 2 12 volt batteries in series to make about 25VDC across terminals B- and B+ of the controller. for the benefit of all. The benefit of a higher voltage connector has nothing to do with the speed at which the battery will charge it has to do with the conductor size. I heard that you can change zones 3 times and then you have to purchase another car. The US standard is 120V@60hz the UK standard is 240V@50Hz. Neutral ???? @
