Toyota has launched the new model RAV4 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) ( earlier post ) through dealerships in Japan. It also achieves an all-electric driving range of 95 kilometers (59 miles), and a hybrid fuel economy of 22 km/L (51.7 The fifth generation RAV4 was released in April 2019.

In many respects, hydrogen FCVs could offer features that are similar to today’s gasoline cars and are more challenging to achieve in battery-powered vehicles, including good performance, large vehicle size, refueling time of 3-5 minutes and a range of 300-400 miles.
